Composition / Active Ingredients

Each Rest Ultra Bolus contains:

Flunixin Meglumine IP (Vet.) – 2000 mg
Serratiopeptidase IP – 120 mg
Cetirizine Hydrochloride IP – 100 mg
Magnesium Trisilicate IP – 100 mg 

This combination provides analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and antiallergic activity, along with proteolytic/fibrinolytic and antacid support. 

Clinical Description

Rest Ultra is a multi-action veterinary bolus formulated for the management of severe pain, inflammation, fever, swelling and spasmodic conditions. Flunixin Meglumine provides NSAID-mediated analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory action. Serratiopeptidase provides proteolytic support, Cetirizine Hydrochloride provides antiallergic activity, and Magnesium Trisilicate acts as a buffering antacid. 

Indications / Uses

Welcomevet identifies Rest Ultra Bolus for high fever (pyrexia), inflammation, spasms, pain and allergy. It is also indicated as supportive/symptomatic treatment in respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, reproductive tract infections and abdominal colic. 

It may also be used for painful musculoskeletal conditions including arthritis, bursitis, myositis and lameness, as well as udder swelling and pain. The manufacturer additionally lists its use as supportive treatment in Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) and FMD. 

Dosage & Administration

Manufacturer-listed dosage:

Large Animals: 1 Bolus once daily for 3–5 days
Small Animals: ½ Bolus once daily for 3–5 days 

Administer orally, preferably under veterinary supervision. Duration and dosage may need adjustment according to the animal's species, body weight, clinical condition and response to treatment.
