Composition

Each DEEP TBR enteric-coated tablet contains:

• Trypsin – 48 mg
• Bromelain – 90 mg
• Rutoside Trihydrate – 100 mg

The formulation combines proteolytic enzymes with rutoside to provide anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous and tissue-recovery support. 

Clinical Description

DEEP TBR is a veterinary proteolytic enzyme combination designed to support the management of inflammation, swelling, pain and tissue injury in dogs and cats.

Trypsin is a proteolytic enzyme that helps break down damaged or necrotic tissue and supports the wound-healing process. Bromelain has proteolytic and anti-inflammatory activity and helps reduce tissue swelling and inflammation. Rutoside Trihydrate is a flavonoid with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that helps reduce capillary permeability and supports circulation and tissue recovery. 

The combination is particularly useful as supportive therapy during recovery from injuries, surgery and inflammatory musculoskeletal conditions.

Dosage & Administration

Dogs & Cats: 1 tablet, two to three times daily, depending on the severity of inflammation, or as directed by the veterinarian. The Veterinary Medicine

Because DEEP TBR is enteric-coated, the tablet should be swallowed whole. Do not break, crush or allow the animal to chew the tablet. One published product monograph advises administration 1 hour before food, particularly when used alongside antibiotics or NSAIDs. 

The actual dose and duration should be determined by the veterinarian according to the animal's condition, weight and response to treatment.

Possible Adverse Effects

The product is generally intended to be used at veterinarian-recommended doses. If vomiting, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, hypersensitivity or any other unexpected reaction occurs after administration, discontinue or withhold further treatment as advised and contact the treating veterinarian.

Withdrawal Period

Not applicable when used in dogs and cats as companion animals.
