Nayflee Plus Spot-On for Dogs 20–40 KG
Manufacturer/Marketer: Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
Division: Intas Animal Health
Product Type: Veterinary Topical Spot-On Solution
Therapeutic Class: Ectoparasiticide + Insect Growth Regulator (IGR)
Target Species: Dogs weighing 20–40 kg
Pack Size: 2.68 ML single-dose pipette.
Composition
Each formulation contains:
Fipronil — 9.8% w/v
(S)-Methoprene — 8.8% w/v
Excipients — q.s.
Clinical Description
Nayflee Plus is a dual-action veterinary ectoparasiticide for dogs. Fipronil acts against adult external parasites, while (S)-Methoprene is an insect growth regulator that interferes with immature flea development.
This combination helps control existing fleas, ticks and lice while also targeting flea eggs and larvae, helping interrupt the flea life cycle and reduce reinfestation.
Indications / Recommended Uses
Nayflee Plus is used for the treatment and control of flea, tick and lice infestations in dogs. Its (S)-Methoprene component provides additional flea-life-cycle control by acting against eggs and larvae. Product information also describes its use as part of the management of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD).
Dosage & Administration
Dogs weighing 20–40 kg: One 2.68 ML pipette per application.
Part the hair until the skin is visible and apply the solution directly onto dry skin rather than onto the coat. For dogs above 20 kg, the contents can be distributed across 2–3 spots along the back/spine, where the dog cannot easily lick the product.
For continuous protection, available directions recommend one application every month. Avoid bathing or wetting the dog for approximately 48 hours after application.
Key Benefits
Nayflee Plus provides dual-action parasite control. Fipronil targets adult fleas, ticks and lice, while (S)-Methoprene helps prevent immature flea stages from developing into reproducing adults.
The 2.68 ML pipette is specifically intended for dogs weighing 20–40 kg, providing convenient weight-based single-dose application.
Precautions
For external use only. Apply only to healthy, intact and dry skin. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other mucous membranes.
Prevent the dog and other animals from licking the application sites until completely dry. Product information states use from 8 weeks of age.
Use the pipette appropriate for the dog's actual body weight. Do not divide or combine pipettes to improvise a different dose unless specifically directed by a veterinarian.
Possible Adverse Effects
Occasional reactions may include temporary redness, itching, irritation or hair changes at the application site. Accidental licking may cause temporary excessive salivation.
If marked irritation, persistent vomiting, tremors, weakness or unusual behaviour occurs following application, seek veterinary attention.
Storage
Store in the original packaging in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Keep away from children, food and animal feed. Follow the storage instructions printed on the original pack.
Important Warning
For veterinary use only. For external use only. Do not administer orally. Environmental flea control—including appropriate cleaning of bedding and frequently occupied areas—may also be necessary where reinfestation is a problem.
