Nayflee Plus Spot-On for Dogs 10–20 KG
Manufacturer/Marketer: Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
Division: Intas Animal Health
Product Type: Veterinary Topical Spot-On Solution
Therapeutic Class: Ectoparasiticide + Insect Growth Regulator (IGR)
Target Species: Dogs weighing 10–20 kg
Pack Size: 1.34 ML single-dose pipette.
Composition
Each formulation contains:
Fipronil — 9.8% w/v
(S)-Methoprene — 8.8% w/v
Excipients — q.s.
Clinical Description
Nayflee Plus is a dual-action veterinary ectoparasiticide formulated for dogs. Fipronil acts against adult external parasites such as fleas, ticks and lice, while (S)-Methoprene is an insect growth regulator that interferes with the development of immature flea stages.
The combination therefore helps control existing parasite infestations while targeting flea eggs and larvae, helping interrupt the flea life cycle and reduce reinfestation.
Indications / Recommended Uses
Nayflee Plus is used for the treatment and control of fleas, ticks and lice in dogs. Its (S)-Methoprene component provides additional control of flea eggs and larvae. Available product information also describes its use as part of the management of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) and acaral lick dermatitis associated with ectoparasites.
Dosage & Administration
Dogs weighing 10–20 kg: One 1.34 ML pipette per application.
Part the fur at the base of the neck/between the shoulder blades until the skin is clearly visible. Apply the entire contents of the pipette directly onto dry skin, not merely onto the hair coat.
For dogs up to 20 kg, available directions recommend applying the entire contents at one spot. Do not rub in. For continuous parasite protection, the product is generally applied once monthly. Avoid bathing or wetting the dog for at least 48 hours after application.
Key Benefits
Nayflee Plus provides dual-action ectoparasite control. Fipronil targets adult fleas, ticks and lice, while (S)-Methoprene helps prevent immature flea stages from developing into reproducing adults.
The 1.34 ML pipette is specifically intended for dogs weighing 10–20 kg, making weight-based application convenient.
Precautions
For external use only. Apply only to healthy, intact and dry skin. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth and other mucous membranes.
Prevent the treated dog and other animals from licking the application site until it is completely dry. Available product information states that it may be used in dogs from 8 weeks of age.
Always select the pipette corresponding to the dog's actual body weight.
Possible Adverse Effects
Occasional reactions may include temporary redness, itching, irritation or hair changes at the application site. Accidental licking immediately after treatment may cause temporary excessive salivation.
Seek veterinary attention if significant irritation, persistent vomiting, tremors, weakness or unusual behaviour develops after application.
Storage
Store below 30°C, protected from inappropriate heat and direct sunlight. Keep in the original packaging and out of reach of children and animals.
Important Warning
For veterinary use only. For external use only. Do not administer orally. Use the correct pipette according to the dog's body weight. Effective flea management may also require appropriate treatment and cleaning of bedding and the animal's environment to reduce reinfestation.
