Clinical Description

ENROX is a veterinary broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic containing Enrofloxacin. It is intended for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by organisms susceptible to Enrofloxacin.

Enrofloxacin produces bactericidal activity mainly by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, enzymes required for DNA replication and bacterial survival.

Unlike ENROX LA, which is specifically marketed as a long-acting single-shot formulation, standard ENROX Injection should be used according to the veterinarian-prescribed dosing schedule. 

Indications / Recommended Uses

ENROX may be prescribed for susceptible bacterial infections where Enrofloxacin is clinically appropriate. Depending on the animal species and diagnosis, these can include susceptible:

• Respiratory tract infections
• Gastrointestinal bacterial infections
• Urinary tract infections
• Reproductive tract infections
• Skin and soft-tissue infections
• Other systemic bacterial infections

Storage
