Clinical Description:
Vetmate is a veterinary reproductive hormone injection containing Cloprostenol, a synthetic analogue of prostaglandin F2α (PGF2α). It produces luteolysis (regression of the functional corpus luteum), resulting in a fall in progesterone levels and allowing animals with a responsive corpus luteum to return to oestrus. It is used in controlled reproductive management under veterinary supervision.

Indications:
Vetmate is indicated for reproductive conditions where luteolysis is required, including anoestrus associated with persistent corpus luteum/luteal cyst, silent heat and oestrus management. Product information also describes its use as supportive therapy in certain uterine infections and for timely uterine involution.
