Composition / Active Ingredients

Uterotone Liquid is a polyherbal phytobioactive formulation enriched with Iron and Copper. Its herbal blend includes ingredients such as Shalparni (Desmodium gangeticum), Prishniparni (Uraria picta), Bilva (Aegle marmelos), Kantkari (Solanum species), Gokhru (Tribulus terrestris), Aloe vera and other uterine-supporting herbs. 

For exact quantitative amounts of every ingredient, the current 900 ML pack label should be followed.

Clinical Description

Uterotone Liquid is a herbal veterinary uterine tonic and ecbolic designed for postpartum reproductive care. It supports uterine contractions, placental expulsion, normal lochial discharge, uterine cleansing and timely uterine involution following parturition. 

Indications / Uses

According to the manufacturer, Uterotone Liquid is recommended for uterine cleansing after parturition, expulsion of retained placenta, and as supportive/adjuvant therapy in metritis, endometritis and pyometra. 

Dosage & Administration

Cow & Buffalo: 100–125 ML
Mare: 50–75 ML
Ewe & Doe: 20–40 ML

Administer orally twice daily for 4–5 days after parturition. In retained placenta, the manufacturer states that the dose may be tripled and repeated every 3 hours until the fetal membranes are expelled, or as directed by a veterinarian.

Precautions

Storage

Withdrawal Period

The manufacturer states that Uterotone Liquid is herbal and residue-free with no milk withdrawal period.
