Composition – Each ml Contains:
Cloprostenol — 250 mcg/ml
Suitable vehicle/excipients — q.s. Therefore, a 2 ml vial provides 500 mcg of cloprostenol. 

Clinical Description:
Pragma is a veterinary reproductive-hormone injection containing cloprostenol, a synthetic analogue of prostaglandin F2α. It produces luteolysis (regression of a functional corpus luteum), resulting in a fall in progesterone and allowing controlled manipulation of the reproductive cycle. It is widely used in bovine reproductive-management and oestrus-synchronization protocols. Published bovine studies specifically report use of Pragma 2 ml (500 mcg cloprostenol) intramuscularly in synchronization protocols. 

Indications / Recommended Uses:
Used under veterinary supervision for oestrus induction and synchronization, regression of persistent corpus luteum, luteal cysts, chronic endometritis/pyometra, expulsion of mummified foetus, induction of parturition and planned termination of pregnancy where prostaglandin therapy is clinically appropriate. 

Dosage & Administration:
For cattle and buffaloes, 2 ml (500 mcg cloprostenol) by intramuscular injection is a documented dose. The exact timing and whether repeat administration is required depend on the reproductive condition and synchronization protocol. Published studies have used Pragma 2 ml IM as the PGF2α component of Ovsynch and other synchronization protocols.

Prostaglandin analogues can be absorbed through the skin and may cause bronchospasm and reproductive effects. Pregnant women, women who may be pregnant, and people with asthma or other respiratory disease should avoid handling the product. Accidental self-injection requires prompt medical attention. 

Possible Adverse Effects:
Transient reactions related to prostaglandin activity may occur after administration. Animals should be monitored following injection, particularly when the product is being used for induction of parturition or pregnancy termination.

Storage:
Store according to the conditions stated on the current original Intas pack, protected from excessive heat and direct sunlight. For the Rayavets listing, I recommend using the exact storage temperature printed on your physical Pragma carton/vial rather than publishing an unverified temperature.
