Composition / Active Ingredient

Etamsylate B.P. – 250 mg
Water for Injection I.P. – q.s.

Clinical Description

Clotex is a veterinary haemostatic injection formulated for the control of spontaneous and postoperative haemorrhage. It helps reduce capillary bleeding and promotes effective haemostasis without being a substitute for identifying and treating the underlying cause of severe blood loss. 

Indications / Uses

The manufacturer identifies Clotex Injection for postoperative bleeding, spontaneous haemorrhage, blood in milk and bleeding associated with operative cases. It is also indicated for haemostatic support in dystocia and after parturition. 

Dosage & Administration

General Dose: 15–20 mg/kg body weight
Adult Animals: 20–30 ML
Route: IM or IV
