Clinical Description
SKYWORM CAT is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic tablet formulated specifically for cats and kittens. It combines Praziquantel and Pyrantel Embonate, providing complementary activity against major gastrointestinal worms.
Praziquantel is primarily active against tapeworms (cestodes), while Pyrantel acts against susceptible roundworms and hookworms (nematodes). The combination therefore provides convenient broad-spectrum intestinal parasite control in a single oral treatment.
Indications / Recommended Uses
SKYWORM CAT is recommended for the treatment and control of intestinal worm infections in cats and kittens, particularly:
- Tapeworms
- Roundworms
- Hookworms
It can also be incorporated into a veterinarian-recommended routine deworming programme for cats.

According to the manufacturer's dosage guide:

|---|---|
| Up to 2 kg | ½ tablet |
| 2.1–4 kg | 1 tablet |
| 4.1–6 kg | 1½ tablets |

SKYWORM CAT is administered as a single oral dose. It may be given directly by mouth or with food, and fasting is not required before or after treatment. Cats should be weighed before dosing to select the appropriate amount.
