Composition

Each LISYBIN LARGE film-coated tablet contains:

• S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe) – 425 mg
• Silybin Phospholipid Complex equivalent to Silybin (A + B) – 35 mg
• Excipients – q.s. 

Clinical Description

LISYBIN LARGE is an advanced antioxidant and hepatoprotective liver-support formulation combining SAMe and Silybin. It is designed to increase hepatic glutathione, an important natural antioxidant, thereby supporting protection of liver cells from oxidative injury.

SAVA states that LISYBIN helps support liver-cell repair and regeneration and maintenance and improvement of liver function. 

Indications / Recommended Uses

LISYBIN is indicated for the maintenance, improvement and protection of liver function in dogs. It can be used as veterinarian-directed supportive therapy in dogs requiring hepatic support. 

Dosage & Administration

Administer on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before a meal, for optimal absorption. The number of tablets may be gradually reduced or increased according to the veterinarian's recommendation.

Contraindications & Precautions

The official insert states not to administer to pets below 6 weeks of age and advises against giving LISYBIN to pets without liver disease. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

SAVA's official insert states that there are no known drug interactions or contraindications for the product. Dogs receiving other medicines for liver disease should nevertheless remain under veterinary supervision. 

Possible Adverse Effects

The official product insert states that LISYBIN has no known side effects. If an unexpected reaction occurs, discontinue administration and consult the treating veterinarian. 

Withdrawal Period

Not applicable — intended for companion dogs, not food-producing animals.

Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Protect from light and moisture and keep out of reach of children.

LISYBIN LARGE Tablet by SAVAVET is a veterinary hepatoprotective and antioxidant liver-support formulation for large dogs. Each tablet contains S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe) 425 mg + Silybin Phospholipid Complex equivalent to Silybin (A+B) 35 mg. It helps increase hepatic glutathione, protect liver cells, and support cell repair and regeneration. Dosage: 16–30 kg – 1 tablet daily; 30–55 kg – 2 tablets daily; above 55 kg – 3 tablets daily, preferably on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before food. Pack: 1 × 10 tablets.
