Clinical Description

Speed-Up is an oral calcium gel designed for rapid calcium supplementation and faster recovery from hypocalcaemia and milk fever in ruminants. The ionic calcium provides readily available calcium, while magnesium, selenium and energy provide additional nutritional support during the demanding peri-parturient period. 

Indications / Uses

Recommended for calcium deficiency and hypocalcaemia, prevention/support around parturition (calving), supportive management of milk fever, and oral calcium supplementation following intravenous calcium borogluconate treatment. 

Dosage & Administration – 440 GM Pack

Around Parturition: Administer ½ bottle before parturition and the remaining ½ bottle after parturition.

Calcium Deficiency / Hypocalcaemia: Administer ½ bottle initially and the remaining ½ bottle after 12 hours.

After IV Calcium Borogluconate: Administer ½ bottle 4 hours after IV calcium treatment and the remaining ½ bottle after 12 hours. 

Administer orally using the provided drenching bottle/pipe, or as directed by a veterinarian.
