Clinical Description
DUROMECT Injection is a long-acting, broad-spectrum injectable antiparasitic preparation containing Doramectin 10 mg/mL.
Doramectin acts against susceptible nematodes and arthropod parasites, making the product useful for simultaneous control of important internal and external parasitic infestations in livestock. Historical product literature describes activity against gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, sucking lice, mange mites, screwworms and single-host ticks. Scribd
Doramectin acts primarily on parasite glutamate-gated chloride channels, resulting in paralysis and death of susceptible parasites.

Accurately determine the animal's body weight to avoid under- or overdosing.

Repeated and indiscriminate use of the same class of anthelmintic may contribute to parasite resistance. Parasite-control programs should therefore be developed with veterinary guidance.
Do not administer intravenously.
Use in young, debilitated, pregnant or breeding animals according to the current product label and veterinary advice.
